Manglecito beach is another beautiful white sand beach with shallow crystal clear water. It is a wonderful spot for snorkeling and swimming with sea lions, especially with youngsters.
Behind the beach is excellent bird watching. There a small lagoon, surrounded by mangroves which attracts a lot of birds including: different species of Finches, Herons, Warblers, Mockingbirds and White-cheeked Pintail ducks.
A projection of rocks forming a point produces decent waves for surfing, making this a popular left hand reef break with 6ft waves. It has consistent surf most of the year, and is especially good with a north swell. You may get lucky and have sea lions surfing alongside you.
